My journey into counselling was inspired by over 20 years of experience working in the care sector. During that time, I saw first-hand how many people were struggling with emotional challenges and in need of support. I felt a strong desire to do more to help people navigate difficult experiences and improve their emotional wellbeing, which ultimately led me to train as a counsellor. I now hold accredited registration with the 'National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society'.

Having trained in a range of counselling approaches with a 'professional diploma in counselling practice', I work with empathy, understanding, and respect, tailoring my approach to the unique needs of each individual. I believe that creating a safe and supportive environment is essential, allowing people to feel genuinely heard, understood, and valued.
This could include people experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, grief and loss, PTSD, and more.
People come to me for help with a wide range of issues.
Here are a few of the more common difficulties that can be supported through therapy:
Feelings of stress or anxiety
Panic attacks
Relationship problems
Grief, loss or bereavement
Trauma and post-traumatic stress
Abuse
Depression
Anger management
Difficulties at work or in retirement
Problems with family or school life
